IM IN A RUT

Ive got to be honest, I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment.
For those of you reading, don't worry I will be and I am fine :)

I guess we all feel like this from time to time....



Here are some tips to try and get out of it, or make yourself feel a little better.


1. Distractions! Distractions! Distractions!
Clean your house, Read a book, go for a walk (which is a bit hard to do in Perth with the crappy weather), Watch a movie. 

2. Paint a vision and goal to work towards: even if that is something as simple as getting out of the house for even half an hour a day. Take small steps everyday.

3. Remember you will get through this: It may seem bad or hard at the moment, but this is just a temporary glitch that everyone goes through. You WILL be ok. 

4. Do some exercise: This is easier said then done when you are feeling crappy, but even if you do some yoga or meditation inside for even 10 minutes, exercise is good for your mental health!

5. Pamper yourself: Take a nice hot bath, put on a face mask, anything that makes you feel a little bit nicer. 

6. Give yourself a break: Don't beat yourself up to hard. It will be better soon. 

7. Allow yourself to cry: Sometimes a good cry can make you feel better. 

8. Give you dog or pet a cuddle: This always makes me feel better getting cuddles from Frankie

9. Refocus on your goals: What can you learn from feeling like this, how can you move on from this? set yourself some goals!

10. Get out of your routine: When you are feeling blue it is so easy just to stay home in bed feeling sorry for yourself. Get up and get out and do something even if its just for a little while.
