JUNE IS HERE

JUNE IS HERE! Can you believe it? Where did the last 6 months go? 

I know when I get home it is going to be cold and miserable. 

So here are some things to do in Perth this Winter season.

Get a coffee or hot chocolate: 

Go to one of our fine cafes and grab yourself a nice warm cup of Joe. Some of my favourite cafes are;

Mary St Bakery - Mt Lawley

Uncle Joes - Perth CBD

Satchmo Cafe - North Perth

Little Bird Cafe - Northbridge

The Flour Factory - Fremantle 

Get warm at the Ellington Jazz Club: Grab your coat and head to this cosy warm jazz club. Enjoy some drinks upstairs before you watch a show.

Lose yourself at the Perth Art Gallery or PICA:

When you have to stay out of the rain what better way to spend it looking at art. I love art galleries. 

Drink some Scotch and Whiskey:

Get warm with some whiskey or scotch on the rocks.

Some of my favourite whiskey and scotch bars are,

Helvetica- Eclectic, intimate bar with a retro-chic atmosphere, serving cocktails, global whiskeys and snacks.

Alabama Song- I haven't been here yet but I have heard good things. 

Bobeche- Dimly-lit basement bar for late-night shareable plates, sandwiches and classic cocktails in teapots

Eat lots of pizza: 

Warm food is the best at winter. Go to my favourite pizza joint in Perth. You won't be disappointed. 

Theo & CO Pizzeria- Leederville or Vic Park

Read a Book:

Crank your heater up, get comfy and indulge in your favourite book

Go to the Swan Valley:

The Swan Valley is so beautiful in winter, go check some wineries. 

Get to a local gig:

There are so many amazing local Perth bands. just because its wet out doesn't mean you can't go and check out some of Perths amazing talent. 

Go Ice Skating:

Why not get into the winter vibe and go Ice skating, not only is it good exercise but its great fun!
