"Relaxation"
Relaxation is a where you feel calm and able to manage day-to-day life. If you have a busy life, this can be hard. Relaxation has many mental and physical health benefits, and the techniques can be practised almost anywhere. I struggle to relax but I am trying harder to do so.
So....Relax. You deserve it, it's good for you, and it takes less time than you think. So have a look at my tips below and try and do one everyday.
RELAXATION TIPS:

So....Relax. You deserve it, it's good for you, and it takes less time than you think. So have a look at my tips below and try and do one everyday.
RELAXATION TIPS:
- Go for a walk
- Take the time to notice things around you
- Listen to music
- Play your favourite sport
- Take a hot bath/shower or spa ( lie back, no distractions)
- Go to the movies or watch a movie at home
- visit a friend
- Go for a swim
- Do a puzzle or board game
- Read a book
- Give your thumbs a rest (no phone, iPad, tablet, laptop)
- Once a day get away (Checking out for 10-15 minutes is reviving. Find a place where you can be alone—the attic, the bathroom, a quiet cafe, a big tree and wipe the slate clean for a few minutes. Do whatever it is that relaxes you: Meditate, read a novel, sing or sip tea etc;.
- Make love;)
- Sit in the Sun
- Get yourself a massage
- Concentrate on your breathing
- Meditate/Yoga ( There are alot of tutorials on youtube)
- Get a adult colouring book (you can get cheap ones from Target/Kmart)
- Write a diary
- Watch cartoons
- Go Skateboarding
- Go for a drive
- Learn to play a musical instrument
- live without technology for a day
- Go shopping
- Learn something new
- Turn your alarm off and have a sleep in
- Have time alone
- Go to the beach
- Cuddle (your partner, dog, mum, dad, best friend, anyone)
- Visit an aquarium/zoo
- Go star gazing
- Clean your room/house
- buy new homewares
- stretch
- Stay in your pj's all day
